QUESTION: This is the name of the alien "SYPHON'. The question is Did Syphon come from another world? We have no clue what to write on materials, procedure, hypothesis, or conclusion. Please help with this science project it's due on may 5,.
Thank you!
ANSWER: Hi Marilu; I have been pondering this question for two days now and the problem is this. Science is based upon facts and your supposition is not factual but fantasy. It seems to me that the best way for you to approach this topic is to make up some facts to test. Your hypothesis would be " Syphon comes from another world" This is what you are going to test. In order to do so you must have some facts such as; what is the anatomy and physiology of this creature and what are the requirements for him to live. What does he eat etc. Since he is fiction you can make up any facts that you want.
I hope I am on the right trail here. I am asuming you are approaching this from a scientific method

QUESTION: Hi I still can figure it out! The story is about an alien that came from the planet 5,he likes to eat brains,It can survive in the hottest weather. It can grow up to 6ft.It's get's around in a flying source. It can breathe in water. This is just a brief story. So how do i create materials, procedure, and my conclusion, can i get an example we have been trying to figure it out for the past week we really need a lot of help on this. Thank you so much!
AnswerFirst of all let me say that this scenario does not lend itself to scientific method. You can use an alternate hypothesis "Syphon does not come from another world" Scientific method involves testing your hypothesis. Now you must device a way to prove that he does not come from another world. In your experiment you might draw comparisons between a human Earth dweller and the alien. Test the heartrates of both, the breathing of both, responses to stimuli of both. Since your alien is fantasy you can make up any results and easily prove he is from another planet
