Question
Can i just major in biology and then go to graduate school for marine biology? i would like to go to centenary college of louisiana because i live  an hour away and i heard it had a good biology program. then after getting my degree in biolgoy i want to go to graduate school at the univ. of miami. could i do that? and if i can does centenary have a good biology program?

Dear Denise,

Since I work at the University of Miami, I do know that RSMAS does require that its entering graduate students have a degree in Marine Science.  I am not sure about other graduate schools, so you might wish to contact them and find out.
