Question
I have 2 questions...

What are the necessities of life for a moss?

and what happens to moss when the direction of wind changes? like the wind use to come from the west, and now it's coming from the east. My question is what results in the moss?

Answer
Hi Miranda:  Thanks for your question.

Mosses, like every other form of life on Planet Earth require two things:  a source of energy and a source of carbon.  Since mosses are photosynthetic plants, the energy source is the sun, and the carbon source is atmospheric CO2.

More information can be found here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moss

Mosses reproduce by swimming sperms and spores.  If the wind changes, the direction of dispersal may change as well.

Hope this is what you wanted to know.
