Question
how are humans different from animals?
It's a very obvious question but, when you get down to it, what really makes us different?
I need some help on specific things, so please reply (in an email).
thank you.

Answer
First of all bear in mind that we are members of the animal kingdom. How are we different from other animals? Specifically in the function of our central nervous system. Our larger btrain capacity allows us advanced commnications and a written language.  WE also have an opposable thumb.  We can think in abstractions . We can create in our minds a relationship between completely unrelated things. In other words I can visualize a pink elephant.  This is important because it leads ti creativity.
