Question
dear expert,

Why does our jaw are generally too small to hold wisdom teeth?
I heard it's because nowadays we tend to eat more easily-chewable food instead of solider one.

is it true?

sincerely

Answer
 Hi Eddy
Actually the lower jaw is not to small and most people;e have no problem with wisdom teeth. About 20% of people have extra wisdom that are removed.  The human jaw is smaller then the jaws of other primates and is was thought that wisdom teeth were vestigial.  Of course the jaw size in humans has an evolutionary origin. The softer foods idea is an anti-evolution argument
