Question
In school i am growing bacteria, i wanted to know if i touched the bacteria with my hand and then touched my face how sick would i get? ( I don't want to try this i am just wondering my science teacher was not sure)

Answer
Hi Kayla
It all depends upon what kind of bacteria you grow. Most bacteria are not harmful but you have colonies growing you should assume that there are ones there that could make you sick and do not get them on your hands Wash youre done examining them wash your hands. What grade are you in. Unless you are in at least the 7th or 8th grade you should not be growing bacteria
