Question

Chromosomal Changes Du
How does the chromosomes remain
arranged on metaphase plate when the
nucleur membrane has already been
broken down & the spindle fibre has not
been form yet ?

Answer
 Ho Manindra
The stages of mitosis are arbitrary and artificial. To have stages you must infer that there are stops and starts. Mitosis is a continuous process: there are no stops and chromosomes do not remain there. If you observe the actual process  you can see this is so. They only appear to be stable in stained slides and drawings. The stages were invented to help explain the process
