Question

a phloem cell
i just want to ask "what are phloem cells?"
there are lots of answers but i want to know the complete definition of what it actually means.
thank you!

Answer
Plants have to have tissues to carry fluids just as animals do. Animals have arteries and veins and plants have xylem and phloem. Xylem carries water to the leaves and phloem carries food (sugars) from the leaves to the roots and other parts of the plant
