Question
Hi Iam quite stuck on this question and have tried answering it but am unsure whether it is correct or not. The question is as follows: Explain why blood pressure would have increased right after his exercise and why it would return back to normal levels. What factors would regulate these changes?

Answer
Hi genevieve
The energy required for muscle activity is gained through a fermentation process when pyruvate is metabolized. A byproduct is lactate acid and increased blood flow to the muscles is required to supply oxygen. Enzymes called angiotensins cause constriction in arteries raising BP. When the status quo returns the BP returns to normal
