Biology/Would you like to join this debate?

QuestionMr. Hintz,
Hi! I have challenged the Creation Museum to an evolution vs. creation debate. They have accepted as long as my side has PhDs so they don't get accused of fixing the debate. I am going to see if exemptions can be made (since I would like to participate) so would you like to be a part of this debate? I have already contacted some PhDs such as David Quammen (who actually is a graduate of my high school) and at first he was interested but now he says it is a waste of time to debate with creationists. I agree, in a way, but if the Creation Museum takes my other idea too, the debate will be geared towards explaining the science behind both sides to an undecided crowd and then have the crowd vote who they believe. That might be stupid but it is better than trying to argue directly at creationists who don't care what you say. Anyway, do you want to join? I'll send you more details if you want to be involved.
Mark
P.S. Do you have any ideas to make this debate better?
Answer Somebody once told me that if you are arguing with someone who you think is nuts you are wasting your time. The creation museum is the brainchild of Ken Ham a holder of all sorts of bogus degrees. He really believes that Noah really put tow of all the animals in the world on a big boat and the the Earth is only 10,000 years old. It is inconceivable that anybody who can read can believe that stuff Ken Ham is nuts. (or he is very clever and found a gold mine in this museum) This museum is an abomination and a sore spot with me. They bus hundreds of school children in everyday and feed them a lot of bullshit. Eventually many of these children are going to look around and study geology and then get pissed off because they were lied to.
Your friend David is correct. It is a waste of time debating with these people. They are delighted that you wish to debate them because it makes them think they have some ideas worth arguing about. The creation museum will also come up with some PhDs. Ken Ham has two honorary ones; one from Liberty Univ founded by Jerry Fallwell and one from Temple baptist College
I do have some religious belief. But when someone approaches me and asks if I want to be saved I first ask if a guy put a lot of animals on a boat. If they say yes I tell them we have nothing to talk about. Incidentally Ken Ham
Follow your friend David's advice Mark. Do not try to argue with these people
