These are practice questions from a random website to prep to take the pre-test, then if passed, then take real test: so I have some questions and if you could just describe why my answer is what it is? I can look up the easy ones, but I was hoping these science ones that you could briefly straight to the point brief summary ( if u don't mind, then you could explain in detail, I just would like some material to go off of bc website doesn't give any why explanations. Hopefully u can :) ( I've already past this test once but expired so here I go again,.. #1 is hard for me.

I am not sure what the question is  here.Are you expected to explain why these answers are what they are?  These are definitions and facts and do not lend themselves to further definition. For example in question #1 the answer is metaphase. Why? Because these terms are arbitrary terms made up to help us identify change occurring during mitosis.Example # 16 Why is Archemedes Principle the answer? Because a guy named Archemedes first came up with it
