Question
Our baby has unattached ear lobes and both myself and my husband have attached - there is certainly no question as to our babies parentage!! Is this possible as we have heard that if both parents have attached you child must have attached too!!

Answer
No Problem here Allison. Unattached earlobes are recessive so you and your husband each have one gene for attached lobes and one gene for unattached lobes. The chances are 1 in 4 that your children would have unattached lobes. My wife and I have unattached lobes and our son has attached lobes. If you check you will find that unattached lobes are somewhere in your parental backgrounds
