Biology/Why sweat during sex?

Question
I have been told that people sweat while having sex. Why is that? Is it because of vigorous body movements or is it hormones or whatever? If a person have sex with very little body movements, will he or she sweat? Is there any differences between man and woman in this matter?

Answer
  Hi K
It is due to increased activity and the rise in body temperature and the temperature of the room.. It would follow that less activity would mean less sweating. But sweating is different in different individuals due to heredity. My wife perspires a lot more then I do.
My grandma, a very "proper" lady, once when I told her I was sweating/ "Horses sweat, people perspire"
