Hi there,

My mother was recently playing volleyball with my grandchildren on the beach.  She ended up landing on her foot and breaking it.  Theses are her symptoms and what she has:
-gone through menopause
-67 year old female
-plays volleyball
-while playing volleyball with her grandchildren on the beach, she broke her ankle (also badly bruised and swollen)
-Huntington's disease and breast cancer are in her family history

Any ideas of what she might have?

This is  a medical problem and I am not an MD. I would be breaking the law if I were to diagnose a medical problem. No ethical physician would diagnose a patient over the Internet without examining her.
Hopefully the ankle break has been treated by a physician
