Question
i am doing a science fair project on hows mouths are cleaner dogs or humans. would i have to send it off to get a good result or should i just get a microscope and do the test at home.? but the problem  is i have no earthly idea how to start. can you help me?

Answer
Hi Amanda;
You must do a science fair project on your own. I am not sure you understand the scientific method. You will have to give me some information before I can help you.
 Is this a science class requirement?
 What grade are you in and how old are you? I must know this because fooling with germs can be a problem
 Does your school have resources (supplies ) or can you get them your self?
 Do you have a dog

The First thing you have to do is decide on the problem which is: Cleanliness of the mouths of dogs and people. Then you state a Hypothesis. guess as to what the answer is.
 Maybe this  There are more germs in a dog's mouth then in a human mouth
Don't use the word cleaner because it cannot be measured.
