Question
How many minutes does it take to draw to liters of blood from the veins in the arm by a needle?

Answer
Dear Vera,

It depends on the individual's blood pressure and other factors.  But taking two liters would not be advisable, as it would severely affect the individual's blood pressure and other homeostatic mechanisms.  It takes about 10 minutes to donate about 1/2 liter of blood.  And that's all one should ever take at one time, unless under very unusual circumstances and under the supervision of a physician.
