Ms Dana

Example :

Blood group required by a patient because of injuries is A Rh+ ve.
Suppose by mistake, The Blood recieved by the patient is B Rh+ ve.

What are the consequences ?

will there be death ? blood clot ? paralysis ? Kidney Failure ?

suppose the doctor comes to know that the wrong blood has been transfused to the patient then
what are the actions he can perform so that the patient can be saved eventually ?

Dear Prashant,

Because you are needing so much diverse information on blood types and blood transfusions, I suspect you are in some sort of educational program in nursing or medicine.  If this is the case, I would suggest that you start with this excellent overview of blood types and transfusions from the National Institutes of Health:

This will give you the ability to answer these questions yourself by figuring them out, rather than having me answer them piecemeal.  Since this is not really my area of expertise, I think you would be better served by going to the source and learning the basics so you'll have the information at hand all the time.
