If there is a lack of HCL in the stomach, how would that affect digestion?

Hi Miranda
HCl helps break dpwn large food particles into smaller one so that carbohydrates ,fats and proteins are exposed to the digestive enzymes in the small intestine. Lack of HCl would mean that much of the foos taken in woul pass through undigested
