Question
Hi,
We are in students in Mr. Burkes life science class. We were assinged to do a project on biomes. We were put into groups and we given a specific biome. Our group is Jared, Kyle, and Brielle. We were given the desert biome. We had to create a project, to teach the class. We also had to communicate with an expert wtihin that biome. We were wondering if you could help us with these questions:
-what are some cooperations within animals in the desert biome?
-We have some preditor/prey relationships, hawk-snake, snake-mouse, fox, rabbit. we were wondering if you could give us some details on these relationships.
-How has the desert evolved over time?
-What are some adaptaions of plants and animals in the desert?
We really appriciate your help with this project! If you have the time to answer our questions, could you please e-mail the answers to our teachers e-mail at:
Thanks again,
Jared, Brielle, and Kyle.

Answer
I wish I could help you boys, but I live in Ohio in a temperate forest biome.

I am sorry that you were disappointed but the boys asked to talk to an expert within a desert biome. I do not. Also these are questions that the boys can easily research in the library something that I would have to do for them in order to answer all of these questions. I am a firm believer in the idea that there are some questions that are answered by going to books and not by the internet.
Again I apologize Mr Burke but I was honest in telling you that I could not help the boys and I think that it was unfair for you to rate me as you did.
