Question
How many liters of water do you have to take in a day? How many liters come out of your body a day?

Answer
Dear Peter,

An average mammal (including a human) requires approximately 900-1000ml of liquid per day per kilogram of body weight.  This includes all the liquid taken in with food, as well as water consumed directly.

The amount of water excreted via the kidneys will depend on the state of hydration of the body and how much is released as sweat.

Hope this helps.
