Question
How can ADP be 'recycled' to form ATP again? And how do proteins in your cells access the energy stored in ATP?  

Answer
The cells contain plenty of ATP and ADP and there is also available phosphates.  Under enzyme controls phosphates are hooked onto ADP with high energy bonds.  When energy is needed for cellular activity the P is split off of ATP and  the energy utilized
