Question
IN the thawing and freezing of meats and vegtables, what happens to the cells in each and why?

Answer
 Hi sean
The life of a cell depends upon its watery internal environment for  dissolution and transport of ecessary compounds.  Freezing causes ice crystals inside the cell and disrupts the cell membrane.  Thawing dead cells does not repair them but can cause a further breakdown of the tissues
