hi,i really need informations on this would i say breathing infection. Is it really an infection? what causes it?how is genetically inclined?i am actually in lov with an asthmatic patient and i want 2 marry him as soon as we are ready,am i really at risk?and if we are to kiss (sorry)im i also going to have asthma?does it have a cure?i hear it could be out grown, how true is this statement?what are the composition of gas they inhale in the popular ventolin,,i would appreciate it if i get my required answers..

You really do need a lot of information yvonne.  Asthma is not a respiratory infection nor is it transmitted from person to person. You are not at risk from kissing a person with asthma.  It has a number of causes but mostly it is an allergic reaction whereby the breathing tubes become constricted.  Is is easily treated in most cases and it is true that people often outgrow it..  The main medication in inhalers is epinephrine
