Question
I 'm doing a science fair project on how different kind of light effect on the growth of bacteria. The three kind of light i will use are ultraviolet, fluorescence light, and sun light. So my question is that how they will effect bacteria? and what are some information about these three kind of light that could be use in my research paper.
Thank you very much

Answer
Hi Vikanda
Most bacteria do not require light for growth but can be  killed by ultraviolet wavelengths.  This depends upon the amount of UV light and the time of exposure.  Go to this website and you will find out more information.
