Question
I am trying to find an example where a species name is capitalized---as when it is named after the person who first described or discovered the species.

Can you provide an example?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Answer
Hi Jan
I love some of the names.  An example of one your are looking for could be the freshwater jellyfish, Craspedacusta sowerbii.  The problem is that even with proper names the species is usually lower case. I cannot think of a case where th species is capitalized.
