Question
Hello
Can you direct me to a website/ or book that I can read about experiments using mouthwash, soaps, and disinfectants against bacterial growth?  I am mid 50's and attending college for the first time and ONLINE is the only way I can obtain any degree; however, the lab assignments are difficult to imagine results without any literature to read concerning them. One question is as follows: Do you think the inoculated tubes have an odor?
My instructor (online) only advises me that the answers are usually common sense, but I am trying to obtain a degree in childcare and have NO experience in chemicals. Please direct me to where I can study...have a good day

Answer
Hi Pat
Go to google and type in "Which mouthwash works best" and you can find some ideas and experiments about chemicals and tests of household products.
Personally I have issues with teaching science over the internet.
If you grow bacteria the tubes usually smell bad
