Question
I was wondering what the term, "organic" really means? And also with some genetic engineering could someone create an animal that eats one thing and somehow produces metal substances in its feces? Basically a one organism factory?

Answer
 Hi James
Organic chemistry involves carbon containing compounds so we associate organics with life.
It is difficult to predict what can come from tinkering with DNA but with our present technology there is no way that a metabolic process can result in inorganic material.
