Question
The human brain uses a similar compound in its metabolism as THC and has receptors for this use. Does the body use and convert THC if you have it stored or passing through your body for its natural functions?

Answer
Dear Daniel,

Neither THC nor its metabolites are used for normal bodily functions in humans.  THC metabolites are stored for many days in the fatty tissues (the length of time varies from individual to individual, and even with level of physical activity), but is eventually removed by the body's waste removal and de-tox systems, and excreted via the kidneys.

Hope that helps.
