QUESTION: Sorry I took so long to reply I was working on another project. All I need you to do is answer a few questions about the desert to be my mentor. Please answer the following to the best of your ability.
1. How many deserts are there? (hot & cold)
2. How much water do the deserts get yearly?
3. What is the highest temperature recorded for a hot desert?
4. What is the highest temperature record for a cold desert?
5. What is the lowest temperature recorded for a hot desert?
6. What is the lowest temperature recorded for a cold desert?
7. How many animal species live in the deserts? (hot & cold)
8. How much plant life is in a desert? (hot & cold)
9. What is the wind mileage in a desert? (hot & cold)
10. How do the plants survive the harsh heat or harsh cold and very little rainfall?

Got to this site www.blueplanetbiomes.org/desert.htm. You will see a map of the worlds deserts.
Read everything there then google desert biomes and you will see sites about temperatures, plant and animal life, etc.
Then let me know if there is anything else you cannot find or if you do not understand something.
By the way a desert is defined as any area that gets less then ten inches of rain a year. There is a cold desert in the middle of Antarctica
