Hi,
I have two questions.one is which i experienced, other one was something i studied for some time but both i was unable to come to a conclusion. Please help
1)When i spend some time in the water my hand fingers(palm side) gets more white coloured, and small "cliff" like spots on them. but, after i was away from water it comes to normal. What does this course(i hope question is clear to you)
2) Why does the orgasam differs men with women(why woman have multiple orgasams and take much more time to achieve it)

thanks for your time

Answer
Dear Chanuka,

In answer to #1:  Your fingers get wrinkly when they're in water for a long time because water is actually entering your tissues through the skin (following the potential gradient of dissolved salts, which are more concentrated in your hand than in the water) and temporarily puffing up the fingers.  This makes them wrinkle because of the connective tissue that holds the skin in place in wavy lines across your palms.  When you get out of the water, the liquid gradually is absorbed by the bloodstream and surrounding tissues and is excreted.

In answer to #2:  No one knows the complexities of the difference between male and female human orgasms, but it is very likely due to the basic differences in brain "wiring."  There are good evolutionary explanations for the difference, but that's not quite the same as knowing *why* there are differences at all.

It's an area of ongoing research and interest, as you might imagine!

Hope that helps.
