Question
I am currently working on biology in High school and none of the books I have in the course look at this part of the subject. Is there a book you can recomend for me to look for to help me in my studies?
Thanks, Debby

Answer
Hi Debby; Glycogen is a complex carbohydrate sometines referred to as animal starch (as opposed to cellulose which is plant starch.)  It follws the metabolic pathways resulting in the production of ATP.  If you need to more about the metabolic process you may have to check a college biology text.
