Question
How does Nicotine effect the growth of a plant?

Answer
Hi Brisco
Nicotine is a very powerful toxin and how it effects plant growth depends upon the type of plant and they amount. Obviously large amounts would kill the plant. The presence of nicotine in the tobacco plant is an adaptation to protect the plant from insects. To study this more you should design an experiment to test it out.
