Question
Dear Mr. hintz,
how do i describe the following cycle in nature by using a word bank? (nitrogen fixation, denitrification, uptake by consumers, decomposition, and bacteria). can you please help me?

i alos have another question.
How can i use the words Autotroph, heterotroph, food chain, trophic levels, biosphere, carnivore, herbivore, omnivore, decomposer, ecosystem, and energy pyramid in a paragraph that describes ecology?
Can you please help me?

thank you for your time,
Zach

Answer
This can be a big project Zach
The first problem can best be done by diagraming the cycle.  Atmospheric nitrogen is put into compound (NH2) by nitrification bacteria in the soil and it is absorbed by the plant.  Consumers eat the plant and the N is incorporated into proteins. When the consumer dies or gets rid of the wastes bacteria decompose the material and it is denitrified and reenters the atmospher.
Type in nitrogen cycle at google to see the cycle

Second question:Define these terms and then write a story about how they all fit in.  I cannot write it for you. Put it together and if you have a problem get back to me
