Question
Which Chromosome(s) is responsible for personality traits ?

Answer
Dear Francois,

The role of genes in generating personality is not yet known, although researchers are very slowly identifying particular genes that may affect very specific behaviors, and may be involved in such things as sexual orientation, aggression, etc.

But no one knows yet where all the genes that affect personality development are located.  Also, environmental influence plays a significant role in determining human personality, so it's not correct to think that personality is completely under genetic control.

I hope this helps.
