Question
this question has three parts
#1
A) explain how a light touch stimulates a nerve impulse
B) how does teh impulse travel to thebrain
C) where in the brain is the impulse received?
#2) imagine that you go to the party with a friend who starts drinking alcohol. describe, step by step, the effects to that individual as he or she drinks more and more alcohol as the evening progresses and the long term consequences that can result from alcohol consumption.

Hi again Sumaya;  These look like homework questions but I will answer the first one.

1. Touch receptors in the skin respond to any pressure. The pressure triggers a nerve impulse that travels along a sensory  neuron to the cord and then to the brain.  It  goes to the primary sensory are in the temporal lobe.  If a reaction to the touch is needed an impulse is sent to the motor areas.

2.The answer to this question is to long for me to go into and you can easily research this question.  Google the effects of alcohol and if you do not understand something get back to me
