Question
I have to do a science project for our upcoming science fair.  Is scoliosis a form of science since it falls under biology? My cousin has scoliosis and I want to know if there is an affect on her body? age 12

Answer
Hi damaja
Scoliosois is curvature of the spine.  Effects on the body depend upon the degree of curvature.  Some people hardly know they have while others are confined to a wheelchair. The study of this problem certainly falls under the realm of science.
