1. A. Explain how a light touch stimulates a nerve impulse.B. How does the impulse travel to the brain?C. Where in the brain is the impulse received?

Special skin receptors are sensitive to pressure (touch) When your are touched a sensory nerve sends a message to the spinal cord and other neurons carry the impulse to the brain to an area behind the Central sulcus.  Interpretation of the touch occurs in the forebrain
