Question
Compare and contrast selective breeding and natural selection.

Answer
Both involve new species but selective involves artificial selection whereby people select the traits that they want to pass on.  Dogs like wolves and foxes have evolved through natural processes while the silly looking dogs we have today came from controlled breeding.
