Question
i am having trouble with atomic weight what is it and how do i get? i have a chart but i am clueless!

Answer
Hi lakeisha
The atomic weight (really the mass) is the combined mass of the protons and neutrons.  Maybe your chart does not show the mass. It would be the number under the symbol. Carbon for example has a mass of 12.011.  The numbers are not even because it is the average of all the isotopes.  Got o this site which shows the masses
