Question
what is a disaccharide? give an example and state how man produces it.

Answer
A disaccharide is a carbohydrate consisting og two monosaccharide units.  It's chemical formula is C12H22O11.
Sucrose or table sigar is one.  Man cannot produce it but extrats it for plants like sugar cane and sugar beets.  I do not know the process involved but you can probably look it up.
