Question
Can you tell me why dog urine stains so badly and is so difficult to remove stain and smell no matter what guaranteed products I've tried. If I can understand perhaps I can find a solution. My female 3 legged Dal is having a very tough time getting in and out of her doggy door due to arthritis setting in. By day I can open the slider to let her out but at night, even with a right before bedtime poddy break, she will have an accident struggling to get out the door.

Thank you for any assistance.

Answer
Hi mary;  I am sorry that your dog is having this problem. I do not know what products are best. I think Fabrese might help with the odor.  Urine odor is basically caused by ammonia and ammonia is basic so a solution that is acidic might help.   I would try a high concentrated carpet cleaner for the stain and a rug shampoo.
