On question number 3 the correct answer is C transformation.  Unicellular organisms can pick up and incorporate into thier own genomes DNA released when other cells around them die and break up.  This is called transformation. This can be observed in the laboratory and it provided the first convincing evidence that DNA was, in fact, the genetic material).  On question number 8 - Wow that was a tough one and I actually got it wrong choosing the B also.  The correct answer is D.  Biophilia is defined as our natural sense of connectedness to life.   (As defined by biologist E.O. Wilson). I took this same test a few weeks ago!

Jonny you are sickening. People are actually online trying to better themselves and you are probaly a flunk out and you're relying on other people to finish your High School Diploma for you. Sickening.

on # 18 think of it as a pyramid instead of a chain ex: if you were in a forest there are millions of bugs and several thousands of birds and reptiles and small animals eat those bugs then the small animals and ectra are eaten by larger animals which in turn are eaten be larger animals until you reach a animal that has almost no predators to eat it ...in the case of this question the pyramid just happens to starts with algae instead of bugs page 212 of our text book
