i had to go thru many contradictory responses to this question before i hit your answer. i am a hazel-green eyed child to 2 blue eyed parent. my maternal side are all blue eyes. and im unsure as to my biological parents eye color. thanks. this is the best answer :)

My wife and I are both blue eyed and have a son with hazel eyes. My wife's mother has hazel eyes. So, yes I know first hand that it is possible.
