Life as I understand it, it does not occur without inteligent design.  Scientists with great intellect and all manor of equipment at thier disposal have tried in vain to create life in a test tube.  Ammino acids and other stuff but nothing has walked away so far.  There is immense interest in this due to the fact that evolution hinges on it being possible.  But it just does not happen, even when it is manipulated by the best me on the planet.  So what chance chance. if the odds for evolution were plausible we would ALL be lottery winners.  Life does not come from lifelessness.  See did man get here by evolution or creation which, this book ( it's free so no selling )has many referances which will give a far fuller answer to this question than I can.
