Question
hi, i have read information on goosebumps, i know that adrenaline and fear and cold causes it, but alot of times, my "goosebumps" are more of a rippling effect, like when a drop of water hits a bathtub full of water, causing a ripple, like it will start in one point, and like go down my leg, and the thing is that it doesnt feel like goosebumps at all, no hair is raised, nothing, it feels like something in my body is being released down my leg, and then its gone, so is it like energy, which i guess could be another form of goosebumps? or is it something else, and if so, is it normal? is there anything i need to know that could be going on?

Answer
Hi Mike
I am afraid that you have me stymied on this one.  I have never experienced this phenomenon but the physiology that brings it about is no different then when you get cold or experience fear.  Whether this normal or not I do not know but I don't believe it is anything to be concerned about. Mention it to you doctor during your next check up.
