Question
hello.
why do plants turn to the sun on a sunny day? i know its coz of turgor movement but how?

Answer
You have two questions here : How and Why
Why? It is the nature (and DNA) of a plant to capture the most light available. In indirect light a plant stem will have a shady side receiving less light. The stem will bend turning the leaves toward the light.
How: Hormones called auxins stimulate greater cell growth on the shady side causing the plant to bend.
