what does the word hypothesis mean nad can you give me an example. I would also like to knoa what a random guess is and an example of it. thanking you in advance Gerard MacNeil
A hypothesis is an educated guess.
Suppose my Problem was what type of fertilizer makes a plant grow better; My hypothesis could be
"Miracle grow makes a plant grow better"
I do not know what a random guess is bit I think it would be a hypothesis without anything to back it up.
