Question
I'm having problems on learning how to make a food chain

Answer
This is easy Latisha. A food chain tells how energy passes from one level to another.  At the slowest level a plant is making food with energy from the sun. plants are called producers.
Then consumers take over.  Whatever eats the plant is a first order consumer.  Now something eats the first order consumer and is called a second order consumer.  What ever eats the 2nd order consumer is a 3rd order consumer. etc. etc.  Her is an example of a food chain:
A small green water plants makes food.
A tiny water animal eats the plant
A bigger water creature eats this animal
A small fish eats this one.
A bigger fish eats the little fish
Latisha goes fishing catches this fish and eats it.
Want to make another one.
 Here is a simple one.
    Corn plant makes food
      Pig eats corn
I go to a rib joint and eat the pig.

 Try this yourself.
Think about a field or forest.  Make a list of the animals and plants that are there.  You know the plants are going to be at the bottom of the food chain.  Now what is eating what.
Got it?  Let me know
