Question
describe the biochemical structure of major food sources of energy?

Answer
 Hi katherine
The major food energy sources are carbohydrates.  They all consist of Carbon, hydrogen and oxygen with carbon being the base molecule and the basic unit is the monosaccharide, glucose with the formula C6H12O6.  I cannot repeat the structure of monosaccharides here but you can find it in any biology textbook.
