(1)why pesticides are added in shampoos,paints,mattresess and in carpets?
plz reply ASAP!

This is interesting. I never knew they added chemicals to paint and mattresses and especially in shampoos. I suppose that they are added to carpets to keep insects out of them.
I think this is a stupid idea. Pesticides are toxic chemicals. Why would you want them in your hair or your bed. I would not buy anything with pesticides added.
I suspect it is done to hike up the cost.
